Automation Test Team Manager


The successful candidate will need good leadership skills, strong automation testing experience and a good understanding of different testing methods and processes. In particular, proven experience of flexibility, adaptivity in managing team, using and developing automated test capabilities, automation test frameworks and tools.

  • Manage team of 30+ members who are working in several projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Automation Test Engineers in the adoption of advanced test and quality assurance practices following Agile practices, including a drive to shift-left patterns.
  • Provide technical direction by setting priorities and providing a vision for the automation team.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss and agree on automation testing approach and follow it up in new automation test opportunities.
  • Lead the automation engineer team and help creating test automation solutions/strategy for company in the black box automation testing.
  • Train and mentor Automation Engineer on proper selection, design and implementation of various Test Automation Frameworks, Tools and Strategies.
  • Works collaboratively with cross functional teams to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutions.
  • Identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated test solution.
  • Drives the research, evaluation and implementation of automated testing tools and utilities
  • Have a proactive and good work relationship with other team members.


  • University level with bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalence.
  • 6+ year experience in automation test by using the automation testing framework.
  • 3+ year in a technical leadership role.
  • Willingness to join in the projects for supporting the team to make the task-done, participate technical discussions, and mentor team members.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving skills and exhibits strong leadership skills.
  • Good knowledge of software testing methodologies, automated testing tools, and processes.
  • Hands on expertise using Selenium with different kind of testing framework, automated testing approach and tools.
  • Familiarity with automation testing of websites, and mobile applications in API & UI layers
  • Proficiency on using automation test by scripting with any object-oriented programming language
  • Experience in working with the continuous delivery deployment framework.
  • Experience in using different testing technique in the test design for manual and automation test.
  • Experience in working with agile/scrum methodology.
  • Experience in working with acceptance test-driven development (ATDD), automated unit testing (AUT), and behavior-driven development (BDD)
  • Good knowledge about the performance testing and security testing.
  • Good knowledge of SCM tools including Git, subversion.
  • Technical background with experience in as many of the following as possible: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, JMeter, Postman/Newman, Rest-Assured, OWASP.
