Marketing Executive


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Content marketing: create and share content on social channels (multimedia content:
    videos, blogs, and social media posts)
    − write and edit copy
    − communicate to get stakeholder’s buy-in to participate in the content creation process & interview
  • Campaign marketing: develop actions designed to promote the brand’s services. This includes:
    − Research on the content type, timing and target audience
    − Assist with developing and executing external campaigns via social media and email
    − Content copy creation and working with design to deliver a successful campaign
    − Campaign performance monitoring
  • Marketing analytics:
    − handle and analyse data to determine the performance of marketing campaigns
    − provide insights/reports on performance across site assets and social channels
  • Work with senior marketing executives to plan and update weekly regional marketing activities
  • Build and maintain good working relationship with local partners and internal team
  • Generate and brainstorm ideas with the marketing & design team

Training and development

The majority of training takes place on the job, although continued professional development (CPD) is essential. Typical activities can include:

  • Attend networking events
  • Complete short online courses
  • Read the trade press in the local market


  • Organisation – well-organised and able to juggle multiple projects at any one time
  • Time management – make sure all actioned items are sent in a timely manner
  • Prioritisation – ability to identify which deliverables take priority
  • Project management – ability to manage projects effectively, from idea creation to delivery
  • Communication – effectively communicate with employees and suppliers
  • Attention to detail – each and every piece of work which leaves the marketing department needs to be delivered to the highest level of detail
  • Work ethic – the ability to work under pressure and go the extra mile, especially at peak production times
  • Experience – 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the IT services industry
