The Principal Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring client requirements are fully understood and specified in a manner that will enable full understanding from development team, lead, coordinate and establish requirements use-case modeling by outlining the functionality of the system and delimiting it; for example, establishing what actors use exist cases and how they interact. Reporting directly to Line Manager and for specific project related items to the project manager or delivery manager and has authority on all the matters related to workflow of product and client requirement. The detail as below:
- Gather business and system requirements from client
- Assist client to define requirements and suggest ideas.
- Create SRS (System Requirement Spec), Feature List (if needed), UC list and UC detail.
- Create GBR (General Business Rules), wire frame for complex UCs (if needed)
- Assist offshore team in knowledge transfer of existing system.
- Work with UI for UI design and screen mock up.
- Reviewing and providing the appropriate feedback on the final implementation of the user interface.
- Assist PM on project scope, estimation and planning.
- Assist PM on requirement sign off process.
- Assist PM in managing project change requests.
- Acting as the bridge between client and offshore to clarify requirement with development team (developers, QC, UI designer) both business and system analysis view
- Acting as the bridge among internal team.
- Work with QC to verify that all requirements of the system are fulfilled by the implementation in the traceability manner among requirements, CR and implementation.
- Support UAT in testing, verifying bugs/issues with client
- Assist Bid Manager in pre-sales support activities especially on analysis phase.
- Review materials (SRS, UC, etc) from other BA.
- Conduct BA new hired training.
- Manage BA team during analysis phase including estimation & planning, monitor & control the project status; communicate with onshore and client for all project related manner
