The Software Engineer (SE) is responsible for developing software programs based on design specifications; planning, executing, and documenting unit tests; reporting status and issues; documenting detailed designs; and being accountable for unit test leakage. The SE works under guidance from senior engineers and focuses on implementing assigned tasks in compliance with established standards and processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop software programs with guidance and limited support from senior engineers
- Implement assigned features in compliance with the company’s established coding quality standards
- Execute all required test cases for assigned tasks and ensure all cases are tested and passed before releasing for system testing
- Report task progress, issues, and blockers in a timely manner
- Follow defined architecture and technical guidelines provided by senior engineers
- Continuously self-train and learn new technologies to improve technical competency
- Strictly follow customer processes (if required) and ensure compliance with the company’s processes and systems aligned with CMMI standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
- At least 1 year of experience in mobile development (Android and React Native, etc.)
- Basic understanding of the nature of mobile applications compared to desktop or web development
- Basic understanding of app market registration, review, and deployment processes
- Good English communication skills
