Support Analyst – SPA


  • Perform Event Management task which included manage and maintain the Client Monitoring Systems, proactive monitor and responds to security alarms through event handling and escalation.
  • Event handling and escalation
  • Identifying and investigating on abnormal alarms and notifications
  • Notifying and coordinating response to abnormal on systems and networks by liaising with other relevant teams and 3rd party suppliers, handling escalation through to resolution)
  • Compiling daily reports and incident reports
  • Maintenance of technical documentation of processes and procedures used throughout normal operations
  • Development of knowledge and skills in information security


  • A minimum of 12-18 months experience in a SOC, IT with security-related activities or similar role
  • Basic understanding of security monitoring concepts and management tools
  • Good security incident diagnostic skills and ability to assess abnormal, priorities, respond and escalate accordingly
  • Knowledge of the TCP/IP and common internet protocols, network and security analysis
  • Knowledge of common security solutions (firewall, IDS/IPS and application) and able to perform basic configure.
  • Able to collate and interpret data from various sources
  • Capable of multi-tasking, good time management and prioritization of workload
  • Clear communicator (both written and verbal)
  • Work well in a busy team, being quick to learn and able to deal with a wide range of issues
