For nearly 25 years, NashTech has upheld the spirit of “We care, we share” through its CSR activities, focusing on education and supporting disadvantaged children in achieving their dreams of knowledge.
As one of the leading technology companies in Vietnam, NashTech contributes not only by developing a highly skilled workforce for the IT industry but also by spreading a spirit of compassion throughout the community. With a philosophy of sustainable development, NashTech continuously seeks to balance business goals with social responsibility.
This is why the “Green Market” event was organized as an annual internal fundraising initiative at NashTech. Its mission is to spread humanitarian values and support disadvantaged students with a passion for learning. In 2024, Green Market has been dedicated to educational infrastructure development, including the successful construction of new toilet facilities at Ba My Secondary School in Ben Tre Province and the Semi-boarding Primary and Secondary School in Xin Chai, Ha Giang Province.
Students in disadvantaged areas like Ben Tre and Xin Chai face many difficulties, particularly the lack of sanitary toilet facilities. Mr. Le Van Nhut, Party Secretary of My Chanh Commune, shared: “For years, the toilet situation at Ba My Secondary School has been a major concern for both the school and the commune. Limited budgets have made it difficult to improve and maintain infrastructure. The school’s toilet facilities have seriously deteriorated, especially the female restroom, which lacks partitions, severely impacting the daily activities and safety of students. This not only causes inconvenience but also negatively affects students’ health and well-being, which deeply concerns us.” Standard toilet facilities are essential for personal hygiene, providing students with a safe environment, reducing health risks, and enhancing the overall educational experience.
Nasher inaugurated new restroom facilities for students at Ba My Secondary School in Ben Tre Province.
With these urgent needs, Green Market kicked off in May 2024, featuring a range of creative and diverse fundraising activities. Initiatives included a piggy bank donation drive across all NashTech offices, the “Dream Market,” and highlighted events like the “Iced Tea Show” and “Loto Show,” which drew enthusiastic participation from Nashers nationwide.
As a result, the total amount raised this year exceeded 150 million VND, all of which has been directed toward building and upgrading toilets for students in the aforementioned areas. The toilet facilities at Ba My Secondary School, Ben Tre, and the Semi-boarding Primary and Secondary School in Xin Chai were completed in mid-August and November, respectively, ready to serve students in the new school year.
For nearly 25 years of development, NashTech has always stood by the dreams of disadvantaged children on their educational journey.
Mr. Nguyen Thuan Thanh, HR Director of NashTech Asia-Pacific, stated: “Each individual desires to create positive value for themselves, their families, and society.
