Kiet Ly Chan, a Technical Lead at NashTech, recently completed a remarkable one-month journey to the United States, marking a memorable milestone in his three-year collaboration with a long-term client – a trip full of amazing experiences and fun.

“I had a great experience during my time in the US. It was my first time meeting the clients face-to-face. Other client team members from different states like Denver, South Carolina, and Massachusetts also traveled to New York, making it a big team meetup. I learned a lot about the project domain through several knowledge-sharing sessions, and through conversations, my English speaking and listening skills also improved.” Kiet shared.

Beyond work, the trip gave Kiet the chance to immerse himself in the local culture. Together with another team member who joined the onsite trip, he enjoyed many local dishes, navigated public transportation systems, and bonded with colleagues in the US:

“The most remarkable moment was watching a football match with the team at MetLife Stadium. Although the team we supported lost in the end, the match was intense and left a strong impression on us. Another cherished memory was celebrating Halloween at the office, where we dressed up and went around for Trick-or-Treat. For some client team members, it was their first time doing this at the office, and it was a lot of fun.”

“We also had some fantastic weekends exploring cities like Boston and Washington D.C. It was lucky that we visited during the fall, and watching the trees change from green to vibrant reds, yellows, and browns was incredible – it added something special to the trip.” Kiet recalled.

For Kiet, the one-month trip to the United States was a perfect blend of professional development and unforgettable personal experiences. It allowed him to strengthen collaboration with the client team while exploring fascinating things on the other side of the globe. He is grateful to the project and NashTech for providing such a meaningful and rewarding opportunity.
